• Bachelor’s in Biology: Georgia State University.

• Master’s in Microbiology: Middle Tennessee State University.

• Doctorate of Optometry: University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry.

 

Clinical Experience

Dr. Salehzadeh completed internships at Tyndall Air Force Base and the Malcom-Randall VA Clinic in Florida. Her expertise includes:

• Glaucoma and cataract evaluations.

• Ocular disease and diabetic retinal exams.

• Dry eye treatment and pediatric care.

• Contact lenses and LASIK/PRK evaluations.

 

Professional Memberships

She is active in several organizations, including the American Optometric Association, the Georgia Optometric Association (where she participated in a leadership program), and the Women’s Ophthalmic Association.

 

Personal Life

Originally from Stone Mountain, GA, she enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with her family—specifically her three nieces.
